What can I add to this smoothie?
This smoothie is light and perfect for a light breakfast or snack. However, to add more calories to this carrot cake smoothie, you can add these to the mix:
- Ground flax or chia seeds
- Rolled oats or turn this into a smoothie bowl
- Almonds, walnuts, coconut flakes
- Almond butter
- Coconut milk instead of almond milk
- Frozen pineapple instead of Medjool dates. This will add a tropical flair to this smoothie
important notes
Use raw, grated carrot if you don’t have a high-speed blender
