Fresh Strawberry Butter. A simple but delicious spread that goes well with so many things – french toast, muffins, croissants, and so much more. It only takes 3 ingredients and 5 minutes to make this strawberry butter.
Happening now. You in?
First things first – strawberry is in season.
I was so excited when I saw organic strawberries for $2.50 the other day. Yes, it’s quite a big deal for me. And since then, I’ve been enjoying it with my overnight oatmeals, smoothies, breakfast salad, and guess what? This strawberry butter.
Seriously, say hello to your new favorite fresh strawberry butter. I’ve been making this every time strawberry is in season and it is absolutely delicious…best part? Only takes 3 ingredients and 5 minutes to make! Easy peasy, just like this mini cheesecake recipe or pizza rolls.
Fresh strawberry butter
This is one of my favorite recipes in the summertime because of how easy it is to make, and how creamy and delicious it is. To make this strawberry butter, you will need three ingredients.
- Butter. Use unsalted butter and at room temperature for an easy mix
- Sugar. Use confectioners sugar so it’s smooth and creamy
- Strawberry. Fresh strawberries make a big difference!
How to make strawberry butter
All you need is unsalted butter at room temperature, confectioners sugar (powdered sugar), and fresh strawberry. I’ve never tried using strawberry jam but I’m sure that is doable. So, combine all the ingredients in a food processor and mix it until light and fluffy.
Variations of fresh strawberry butter and storing
Try to mix it up! Use blackberries, blueberries, or even peaches instead of strawberries. You can also store this fresh strawberry butter in the fridge for up to a week or in the freezer for several weeks.
Mother’s day is just around the corner and this is a simple but sweet idea you can make this Sunday. The best part is using 100% plant-based and egg-free bread from Little Northern Bakery. First of all, I love their products. What I like the most about this brand is its dedication to making healthier, gluten-free bread without sacrificing the taste or texture with a line-up of plant-based, non-GMO products. In case you do not know, many of their products are 100% plant-based and vegan, appealing to a wide variety of diets and food preferences. And you can easily spot them in most grocery stores — easy peasy.
Fresh strawberry butter is fun and easy to make. Best of all, it goes well with refrigerated cinnamon rolls, toast, muffins, and so much more!
