I love traveling and I can’t wait for our upcoming road trip. And speaking of which, I need to start thinking about easy road trip snacks. Something easy, something portable aka snacks on the go.
Now, while road trips can be a fun way to check out interesting snacks while you need to get gas at a gas station or make a quick restroom break at rest stop, but that also means I need to be more careful and selective so I don’t get wild on added sugar on a portable snack. So, making our own road trip snacks in advance is the best option and I thought I’d pull together a list of all of my favorite healthy road trip healthy snack ideas that work well with your diet so you can skip the line for fast food and skip packing dried fruit, sunflower seeds, or another pack of granola bars (but I will still bring dark chocolate along).
